Mr. Edward Ossai - Director, Producer and Teacher, NFI Nigeria. Mr. Kwame Akuffo- Anoff – Controller of Programmes, Ghana Television Mr. Dele Oke- Head of Department, Television Journalism and Dean of Studies, NTA TV College, Jos, Nigeria Mr. Billy Mutta-Chairman of Jury. A veteran Documentary film producer and former head of film training, KIMC, Nairobi, Kenya. He is currently the Managing Director of NARGBILS International Productions. Ms. Rebecca Ohene- Asah of the National Film and Television Institute was the secretary to the jury.

CATEGORIES DIVISION DOCUMENTARY: RAWLINGS (Ghana) For a sensitive treatment of a subject with historical resonance FOOD FOR THOUGHT (Nigeria) An outstanding documentary that employs metaphor and subtext to focus attention on a global issue FICTION SINDISWA (South Africa) For its relevant subject matter, strong story and outstanding photography. OUT OF PLACE (Ghana) For a remarkable Script interpretation as well as Acting. MUSICAL MILLION VOICES (Ghana) It carries a definite message and articulate…… ANIMATION OBI NKA OBI (Ghana) This animation uses outstanding Animation technique to project African values. TV DRAMA ADAM’S SEED (Ghana) Although casting is unsatisfactory, this film creatively employs deep subtext, eloquent dialogue and African props in an engaging and refreshing way. DEBUT TANYA (Zimbabwe) Excellent use of Photography and Sound in the interpretation of a global social problem. CRAFTSMANSHIP CATEGORIES SCRIPT FOOD FOR THOUGHT (Nigeria) Strong and unique use of metaphor. Using an unusual local vehicle to draw attention to a known global concern. PHOTOGRAPHY SINDINSWA (South
Africa) Creative and effective use of Photography and lights that brings ordinary characters to life in a delicate and sensitive manner. SOUND FREE (Nigeria) Best use of Sound. EDITING TOGETHER ALONE (South Africa) For its ability to effectively construct a potentially larger than life subject matter. DESIGN ADAM SEED (Ghana) For outstanding use of Props and Set design MUSIC EZENATOR (Ghana) Effective use of traditional African score. DIRECTING ELANINI (South Africa) For exceptional story and controlled acting and directing. ACTING
